cinna ask!! what would he be doing right now in your modern au? what sorts of things about him from dragon age would carry over into this au?

Right now I feel like he'd be uh....well. Messing around with Roscoe a lot tbh. But besides that the non-nsfw answer would be probably just reading or writing on the couch, winding down for the night, getting ready to head to bed (he has an old woman sleeping schedule). A little bit of wine on his table, just hanging out. I recently decided to make him a cat lady only in the modern au so he'd also have his fat cat Clementine lying on his lap while he reads 😭😭

As for what carried over, I feel like he's practically the same albeit a bit more Normal and less...murdery. I know he'd definitely still be into archery but only as a hobby, he still grew up hunting in the rural woods with his family, and he still left his hometown at 18. He's a local politician in this universe, but despite no prior experience in the field I still see him kinda worming his way up the ladder due to his natural talent and shrewdness. And yes we would be SO into his job I know he overworks himself all the time but it works for him 👍 he's in his element yknow!

He still drinks a lot, is still weird and off-putting, is still an asshole, but he does it in a charming way so I feel like a lot of people can look past it...if that makes sense. He does just enough of both. But more importantly he still falls in love with Roscoe :-) they're somehow even more insane for each other in the modern au HDKSBFJD I adore them
